Institutional Foundation
Landmark University of Health Sciences is currently in active development, with foundational work well underway to bring our vision to life.
LUHS has been formally incorporated and recognized as a nonprofit by its state of residence, with governing bylaws, a board of directors, and a compliance-ready governance framework in place.
Our institutional infrastructure — including staffing plans, a multi-year operating budget, and a faculty handbook — has been established to support sustainable growth.
Accreditation Pathway
We are pursuing a phased accreditation strategy, beginning with DEAC (Distance Education Accrediting Commission) candidacy and building toward broader regional accreditation (SACSCOC) within the first five (5) years.
A detailed roadmap guides this process, ensuring each milestone meets rigorous quality standards.
Curriculum Development
Our flagship Bachelor of Science in Applied Health Science is fully designed, built around a distinctive six-pillar framework that integrates clinical competency, professional identity, and career readiness into every course.
This BS program is built around professional preparedness, with clinical faculty teaching clinical content, to better prepare students for professional schools.
Our degrees are also designed around "stackable credentials" - producing multiple employable certifications to train a highly-employable graduate for multiple career pathways.
We've also mapped an integrated pathway from our BS program into various healthcare graduate professional programs, giving students a clear, connected route from entry-level study to advanced clinical practice.
Community and Workforce Partnerships
LUHS is actively building relationships with local/regional/national workforce development leaders and clinical partners across the country, laying the groundwork for the partnerships, apprenticeships, and employment pipelines that will define our graduates' experience.
What's Next
As we move through the final approvals in the state of residence (with the respective higher education commission), accreditation and finalize program launch details, we're deepening partnerships with local/regional/national healthcare institutions, donors and funding sources who share our commitment to accessible, debt-free pathways into the health professions. So we can help produce a better trained and more stable workforce.
